ABOUT THE COMPANY

The Company 
Forta belongs to a group of companies whose history and distribution culture is already more than 65 years old. The members of this group are Distribuidora Condor, Superlog Logistics Operator and a participation at Condor S.A. (Manufacturing plant). 
In 2016, Forta completes 20 years of actuation in the automotive market. With extensive experience in the segment, it developed the market for major brands such as Shell, Castrol, Texaco, Wynns. Using a single-brand distribution culture, it develops action strategies in liaison with the manufacturer, always with the mission to be the best service option for the brands it distributes, thus becoming an effective extension to its partners’ service channel.

Service and logistics 
Our service is performed by our external sales team, which consists of a team of dedicated sales men, by our telemarketing team and through our BtoB website. In Santa Catarina, our main warehouse is strategically located in Gaspar (SC) next to the BR 470 road, 20 km away the BR 101 road. We have advanced stocks in each state we operate, thus meeting our prompt delivery mission, which is 24 to 72 hours order time. 
As a service highlight, we are able to fractionate shipment cartons our suppliers in order to meet our customers’ needs, allowing them to have access to the most varying product mix. We also consider as one of the pillars of our service the support and application of sales point materials relying on a specific marketing creation team.

Import 
We are qualified to perform import services using our excellent knowledge in tax legislation, thus optimizing costs and mitigating risks, particularly because of our import background of approximately 40 containers per year imported mainly Europe and China. We operate in one of the most competitive complex modes of Brazil, in both, the Itajaí and Navegantes Port, just 30 km away our main warehouse. We can offer broker services for the industry, allowing for the installation of tax-paying branch.

Innovation 
We want to be recognized for our reputation of coming up with innovative solutions. For instance, we were one of the pioneers who introduced in Brazil an oil exchanging equipment for automatic transmission cars. We developed a cart to handle bulk oil, fitted with anti-spill containment. We launched an innovative solution for equipment financing. Forta is always open to products and partnerships that could bring innovation with added value to monetize our customers businesses.

Our Main distribution center located in Gaspar (SC) has a 6,500-sq. meter storage area with 3,200 pallet positions, operating more than 5,000 monthly deliveries with more than 2,500 SKUS.

In Rio Grande do Sul, we are installed in the city of Canoas and in Bahia, our distribution center is located in the city of Lauro de Freitas.
THE HISTORY

In order to dedicate itself exclusively to the market of premium lubricants, the company FORTA COMMERCIAL starts to operate again exclusively for the Motul brand in the states of Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul and Bahia.

The company starts to distribute Texaco lubricants with the expansion to the state of Rio Grande do Sul.

After a short period working as a multi-brand distributor, 9 years as a Shell-lubricant distributor and the admittance of the shareholder BIG BUSINESS, the company BIGFORTA is established along with the expansions into the state of Paraná with the distribution of Castrol lubricants.

Establishment of the company FORTA COMERCIAL with the purpose of diversifying the distribution business, which until then focused on Condor products only. The company went into the distribution of Shell products for the state of Santa Catarina. As a tribute to his father, its founder Hans Martin Meyer baptizes the new business with the name FORTA.
1942

Creation of the FORTA brand used by our founder Martin Meyer to support the family during the 2nd World War. With Brazil's entry into the war against Germany, all German citizens in the city of Blumenau were banned the roads near the coastline. Martin was then prevented practicing his craft of sales agent, seeking to support his family by bottling and selling, door to door, Indian ink with FORTA’s name.
